NEXUS Fuel Products Secures Naming Rights for…A Goat Rodeo?

Submitted by Articles, 2011

When Myrtle Beach, SC based NEXUS Fuel Products announced last year they would become primary sponsors for RacersReunion.com, they had never seen…or heard in this case heard a Goat Rodeo.

RacersReunion Radio’s popular Tuesday night radio program that is “officially” named Racing Through History became affectionately labeled a Goat Rodeo and later simply The Goat Rodeo. So, what exactly is a goat rodeo, you may ask? “If I were you, I’d google it,” would be the answer normally given by the shows main host, Jeff Gilder.

Regardless of the stir around the shows name, primary sponsors NEXUS Fuel Products, have stepped up to claim studio naming rights for the show. “We’ve always dreamed of sponsoring a goat rodeo,” joked Stephen Sassi, NEXUS’ Head of Operations. “Actually we just wanted to have more visibility on the RacersReunion network. RacersReunion has been a great fit for our company and the Goat Rodeo has been the network’s top show for most of the year. As our company grows, we want to become even more involved with RacersReunion and what they stand for. We’re hoping for a long-term relationship with Jeff Gilder and this great organization.”

So, when you hear the next episode of Racing Through History on RacersReunion Radio, you’ll probably still hear a reference to The Goat Rodeo followed by the words “coming to you from the NEXUS Fuel Products Studio in Myrtle Beach, SC.” I googled it and here is what I found:

Urban Dictionary: goat rodeo
