This is the Junie Donlavey's #90 Truxmore Ford Torino racecar that raced the 1976 24hrs of Le Mans June race and returned to USA to raced the remainig 1976 NASCAR races.
Removed from Le Mans racecar was the Le Mans official approved headlights, road lights, taillights, side door lights for night racing, and windshield wipers.

The above Old Dominion 500, Martinsville Speedway, September 26, 1976 photo shows the front fendered official NASCAR/24hrs Le Mans decals was removed.
Also was removed the big NASCAR logo decal that was located aboved the hand painted "Truxmore" logo on the rear fenders.

The 1976 Bicentennial Celebration (5 star shaped) decal can be seen in the white painted top area above the hand painted "MO" letters of the hand painted "TRUXMORE" logo.

On the gold painted top is located the cream color plastic cover for the racecar radio antenna.

Can't see the "American Flag" and the "#90" that was hand painted on racecar hood for 1976 24hrs of Le Mans June race.

There's Capital City 400, Richmond Fairgrounds Raceway, Sept. 12,1976 race photo showing the "American Flag" and the "#90" that was hand painted on racecar hood for 1976 24hrs of Le Mans June race.

Does anyone knows location of this historic racecar hood.

Thanks for any information or photos posted.
