Charleston Speedway
Submitted by Bobby Williamson, 2010
Located on US HWY 17 south of the city, the ghostly remains of the Charleston Speedway can be seen in this 1980's Terraserver photo. Charleston, once a hot-bed of Saturday night racing, with multiple area tracks, now has none, having lost the sole survivor the Summerville Speedway a few year back to developers.
