I have been a fan of Bill Elliott for ages. I met him when he drove “The Silver Bullet” for Coors – I spent an hour talking to him at a distributors convention in Reno, I was a road driver for Coors at the time. He is one of the most “Fan Friendly” drivers ever.

I met Bill about 2 years ago when he was near my hometown for the Chicagoland Speedway race. He’s a great guy and racer.

i met bill back in the 80s.he is my favorite driver and when he retires its going to be hard not seeing him on the track.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS

Bill and his brothers have came along way in the sport. I was at his first race and helped put the rookie stripe on the rear bumper of his purple Ford or at least I think it was purple but I cant remember whether it was Talladega or Atlanta. Thanks for all the good memories Bill and the Elliott clan.

I was a Bill Elliott fan before he was “Awesome”, and still am. I wish he could win some races with the Wood Brothers team, but I guess since money is all that wins now, they don’t have enough………

I need to find some of my old Elliott photos!

Unfortunately, I must say that Bill will not drive the #21 this year! Elliott Sadler and Trevor Bayne will split up the ride. I hate that since Bill done decent work in the car, even finishing 14th at Homestead last year and qualified 5th. It has been rumored that he will drive for James Finch in the #09 car for the first 5 races this year….but Finch denied it 2 weeks ago when asked. I don’t know where he’ll go, but I hope he’ll still be able to find somebody!!!
