Harry Gant is a true gentleman. I really enjoyed watching him race. I am looking forward to seeing the Old School Racing Tour actually get underway. Wish i could’ve saw him race recently with the other legends in NASHVILLE.

i have been a fan of harry`s since the day he started.i was sponsored by skoal when i raced rc dirt eletric cars in bakerfield,ca. 1/10 scale.harry is the gentleman of gentlmans.no one will ever come close.
I have been a “Bandit Backer” and was in his Fan Club from the early 80’s. I have meet Harry at different tacks in Florida and Pa. He always had time to stop and chat when he could and was the nicest driver I know. I even have stopped in the past at at his Steak House for dinner when I was in the area. Yes Harry you are the man! It hasn’t been the same without “The Bandit” out there on the track. Thanks for all the years of great racing…… Does anyone know it the “Legend Race” at Bristol will be on TV?
I have known Harry for many years, there,s never been a time when I was at his office or any place that he diden,t have time to talk to me. he,s a Gentleman and one who never forgets his fans. I feel privledge to know Harry and have him as a frind. Jim
The first time I ever saw Harry run was at Kingsport Speedway, back in the mid 70s. I’ve been a fan ever since.

Been a fan of Harry’s ever since he brought the Skoal Bandit to our high school during a football game in the late 70’s (South Point High, Belmont NC ’78). Watched him have the field covered at North Wilkesboro on Sept. 22, 1991in the Holly Farms 400, only to have his brakes go out andBig E run him down with only a handful of laps left. Then watchedhim beat Ken Schrader by 13 secs in the All Pro 300 a couple of weeks later atCharlotte Motor Speedway on October 5th.
Friday night Harry will be our featured Legend at the Historic Cleveland County Fairgrounds Speedway.Stop out visit with Harry and see some good racing. W
Does anyone know if Harry Gant will be making any appearances in 2012? I would love to surprise my my husband for his birthday…Harry was his favorite driver of all time.

While I really enjoyed watching Harry race Cup cars, the best racing I’ve seen was in the old Late Model Stock days! Harry had that great looking orange 77 and raced great drivers like Jack Ingram, Bob Pressley, L.D. Ottinger, Sam Ard and all those other great LMS racers! Give me a bull ring over a super speedway any time!
