2010 USA-1 Dragfest on November 13

This year’s USA-1 Dragfest at Bruce
Larsons Stoney Creek Barn will take place on November 13, 2010. The 1989
NHRA Funny Car World Champion once again will open his barn full of
precious race memorabilia and old cars to East Coast drag fans. There
will be dozens of door prizes, nostalgia videos and slides running all
day long, and lots of scrapbooks and photos to enjoy. Vendors will be
on hand with cool stuff to buy, too, and Bruce himself has some great
die cast cars and other collectibles. from his career for sale. Lots of
nostalgia drag racers will bring their cars out as well. The USA-1
Dragfest is always a super time and you should plan on attending. See
you there on Saturday, November 13!

DIRECTIONS TO BRUCE LARSON’S HOUSE

600 Stoney Creek Dr
Dauphin, Pennsylvania
From Harrisburg take RT322 West to Dauphin & Stony Creek Exit
After exiting take the 2nd right on to Schuylkill St.
Go one block, turn right on to Erie St. (at firehouse)
Go one block, turn left on to Stony Creek Rd.
Go 8 tenths of a mile to the white Stony Creek Barn on the left.
PS – Keep your eyes open for USA-1 DRAGFEST signs!

Spend a day bench racing back into the fifties, sixties and seventies world of drag racing history.

BRING YOUR SCRAPBOOKS, SLIDES, MOVIES, VIDEOS & MEMORABILIA TO SHARE & DISPLAY!

Rub elbows with some of the stars and cars of the daze when heads-up drag racing was the only way to go-go!

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES & NO SMOKING!

Getting a lot of buzz about Bruce’s event as always… looking forward to being up there on that beautiful mountain!

Just got back from Larson’s… another great day up there… only drawback was not getting to talk to everyone I wanted to… in fact, I SAW several people at a distance that I wasn’t able to get to! But it was great…

Was good seeing you again Bill and nice to meet your brother. Was so glad to finally get the chance to meet George Nye too. 🙂 Only downer was the fact that Wally couldn’t make it, but, I’d bet he’s got a full belly today though!!!!

Hi Guys and Gals – I’m responding to another great “Happening” Saturday – Nov. 13, 2010 – Dave and Rich were the best of the best and as always a more gracious host – Bruce Larson will most likely never be found. I am ever so pleased to be considered a friend. Keep in mind – those photos you saw were only negatives in storage for 40 years – I am always so glad to see “Mashie” – my favorite fan and I reciprocate on that one – I wish I had stayed with it (photographing) – Pam = you are still my favorite “Gal” — In one and one-half years my life has taken a new meaning and purpose – Thanks to You All!!God has a purpose for Us All and I Praise and Thank the Lord for the Blessings given to me – ALL OF YOU!!Will be seeing all of you again – down the road.
