My college roommate mocked me constantly for being a race fan. After college, we shared an apartment for another couple of years. Even as I watched a race on TV, he'd dog me about it. Then Schrader hit the track in this car. Suddenly for whatever reason, his disposition changed. He agreed to go to a couple of Talladega races plus Daytona's summer race in the late 1980s. While not a rabid race fan, he had a blast at the races and still follows NASCAR a bit to this day. And its all because of Schrader and his frozen pizza sponsor.
