April 30th 2011 will mark another continued season offering area race fans a look into the short track history NASCAR has provided for a mere 63 years. Bowman-Gray Stadium right in the very heart of Winston Salem NC will give top billing to those mighty Whelen mods, with a 200 lapper.

As for the last several season openers, I will be in attendance if for no other reason to purchase a copy of the BGS racing souvioner program, then settle into to some true rubbin and racin short track style.
