Yes, I definitely stole that from a daytime television soap opera, "Days of Our Lives". Never watched it, but the opening at one time came on about the time I was turning on the television for my lunch hour. The rest of the opening goes on to say "so go the days of our lives" or something close to that. My thoughts about the "sand" and the "hourglass" came to mind today as I realized that Daytona Speedweek is upon us! Starts this Saturday with the ARCA race, then continues with The Sprint Unlimited, pole qualifying, the Twins, the Camping World Trucks , the Nationwide and then the Daytona 500. All the glitz and glamour that a spectacular at Daytona can produce and which fans have come to expect. With everything else that goes on in the garage and pits at Daytona, there is certainly the association with a "soap opera" drama. Wonder if it will be anything like last year?
