Hard to believe how much times have changed from 1975 vs. 2012. However, some themes remain the same - as in challenging economic times for the teams. The big difference though? Guaranteed TV money. Teams weren't going to haul their cars to Thunder Valley for a $500 start and park purse. Today though, owners can make a decent living finishing 43rd every week.
