Friday Hassler at Hickory that day scored the first of three Top-5 finishes for 1968 in just 20 starts at Hickory that day, finishing 4th in his independent Chevy behind three factory drivers. Fraiday would finish the season with 8 Top 10s in 20 starts. Pretty imprtessive for an independent Chevy in 1968.
