Once again the storms surrounded the Fairgrounds but not one drop of rain fell on the speedway. A great field of cars showed up and the fans were treated to some great racing. The Rear 4S were first up in a 10 lap Feature race. The race was won by Michael Cogdell driving the famous green #7 owned by Randall Hendricks. The car had not raced since it was parked 20 years ago after it had flipped several times causing his driver to retire. Cogdell held off John Reed for the win.
In the DRCS 20 lap Feature it was Tim Sigmon taking the win after being away for several weeks. Sigmon made his way to the front from his 3rd starting position. Everett Dunlap came home 2nd, Justin Norman 3rd, Jeff Mundwiler 4th, and Paul Visage 5th.
The Fair 4S were up next with a 14 lap shootout. Jonathan Sarratt made his way to the front and never looked back. There were several cars in tow as he raced to the win. The Young 16 year old female hot shoe driver Kelsey poison IVY out of Fremont , Ohio saw her first ever action at the Speedway. Ivy ran a strong race and came home with a solid 8th place finish. Finishing 2nd was Chase Webb, 3rd Kasey Shane, 4th Matthew Burns and rounding out the top 5 was Mike Mull.
The Good Old Days Series Race was a wild one to watch. They blasted into turn one with the fast cars plowing through the field. Chase Webb and the #8 of Dennis Williams both retired for the night with flat tires from the combat. Again taking his 5th win of the season was Ryan Howard driving his updated fresh 1980 Pontiac Firebird # 4x. A distant second was Kris Dunlap, 3rd Jason Hamrick, 4th Marty Spitle, 5th Bobby Reed, 6th Spanky Thompson, 7th Barry Powell, 8th Anthony Potter 9th Dennis Williams, and 10th Chase Webb.
