I recently bought a mixed lot of photos at a local auction in Mooresville, N.C. Among the photo lot, were about 75 photos of on track action shots and driver shots from the late 60's and 70's with a few from what looked to be the very early 80's. A little less than half of the photos were shot by Don Hunter (so says a stamp on the back of the photos) and the rest were shot by a Bill Niven. I am very familiar with Don Hunter's work as a NASCAR photographer and there is quite a bit of info on him on the internet but I have never heard of Bill Niven nor can I find anything about him on the internet as being a NASCAR photographer or any type of photographer for that matter...? Can anyone shed some light on Bill Niven or point me in the right direction?
