Cars catch fire behind speedway

Workers were clearing out the Dr. Scream Halloween show from the Myrtle Beach Speedway Thursday afternoon when a fire started.

They were moving a trash barrel. The barrel fell over, possibly spilling ash, which caught a car tire on fire which caught the car. The fire spread to three other cars.

Horry County Fire Rescue put the fire out.

No one was hurt.
