Well we went back to Dillon Motor Speedway Saturday to finish the News Years day race. We worked our tails off on the race car but the hard work did pay off. After qualifying 9th out of 31 and going to rear 3 times for getting caught up in other people's wreck Charles Hutto drove the wheels off the McCorkle Concrete, STARS Radio, Nexus Fuel Products Chevy Monte Carlo and ended up 6th. There were 24 cars still running at the end although there were few that did not have any damage to them.

Although I only get to turn wrenches a few times a year now, the smile on Charles and Saundys faces makes the effort worthwhile. Thanks for all who helped make this race a success.

What number is the car? We enjoyed the race, lots of action, door to door racing, a crashes galore, all on the front stretch, the crowd sure got their money's worth. I liked the 150 lap event but it was colder than a witches tinsel at 6pm. Congrats on that top 6 place!
