RALEIGH, N.C. Sheriff's deputies were responding Tuesday afternoon to a report of a shooting on Simpkins Road at the Wake County Speedway in Raleigh.
Capt. Jimmy Stevens, a spokesman for the Wake County Sheriff's Office, however, said investigators were at the scene on Simpkins Road but that "it does not appear to be a criminal act at this time."
He would not elaborate, and further details were not immediately available.
