Just saw a joint Christmas Eve news release that the 2014 FASTRAK Racing Series Dirt World Championship will be held in 2014 at old friend, Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway.

$20,000 TO WIN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD AT VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY IN OCTOBER 2014!!

December 24th, 2013 Jamaica, VA Officials of both Virginia Motor Speedway and FASTRAK Racing Series are proud to announce that Virginia Motor Speedway will host the 2014 $20,000 to win FASTRAK World Championships III on October 2 4, 2014.

The success of the FASTRAK Racing engine rules package was the main reason we have introduced the Pro Late Model division to our weekly line-up and we are excited to bring the divisions marquee event to our facility for 2014, commented track owner Bill Sawyer.

Sawyer added, Adding this event should also help in growing our new Aarons Pro Late Model division and offer our competitors a chance to compete for a large paycheck at the end of the season.

This years FASTRAK World Championships will have a new and improved format that will include a $10,000 to win FASTRAK Northeast Regional Race-Off as well as a $10,000 to win FASTRAK Southeast Regional Race-Off before heading to Virginia Motor Speedway for the final $20,000 World Championship event. Should someone win all three events that person will pocket an additional $10,000 bonus, making it a $50,000 total payday. All three events will be paid each night of the World Championships.

It has already been announced that the Northeast Regional Race-Off will be contested at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV on September 18 20, 2014. A venue and date for the Southeast Regional Race-Off will be announced in the next few weeks.

This Championship deserves a venue like Virginia Motor Speedway; it is second to none of any venue in the United States. Dave, being the promoter that you are you should sashay youself up there and declare that you will bring a full stable of Vintage modifieds to the show that will not only compete with but most likely put those kids to shame with their springloaded cars and sexy paint jobs.

You could well be the next Humpy Wheeler on your apple crate. You could go borrow one of those nicker type pants and socks to match along with that derby hat and checker shirt that Jeff wears playing in the pasture over at River Oaks. Cant you just see yourself ? All the used to be 7-11 cronies will be so jealous of you..
