Starting from the pole and leading the last 23 laps, Terry Labonte wins by 9.4 seconds over Neil Bonnett (from 9th), Bobby Allison (from 6th), Geoff Bodine (from 14th), and Dale Earnhardt (from 3rd). Although Labonte won going away, there were some challenges mid-race, most notably from Tim Richmond. Note Geoff Bodine driving The All Star Racing No. 5 in Rick Hendricks' first year in Cup racing.

Some spectacular re-touches of your pics Scott. :appaluse:

King Richard had won race number 199 at Dover two weeks and two races earlier. The intensity was already building about when number 200 might happen - including at Riverside. - Gadsden Times
