"All good things must come to an end."

This proved to be quite a race because everyone of the drivers wanted to go into the record books as the winner of the last race at Riverside. In front of a huge crowd, Rusty Wallace wound up in the winners circle ahead of Terry Labonte (2nd), Ricky Rudd (3rd), Dale Earnhardt (4th), and Phil Parsons (5th).

I notice that some of the cars have the roof numbers backwards and some were the normal facing position. Was it optional to change the position of the number on road courses?
