Joe Laquerre jr.

Does anybody remember Joe Laquerre Jr? According to my ancestry he raced out of Vermont and raced with the likes of the Petty's.

I was just sadly reading of the death of Joey Laquerre in a recent ATV accident.

I saw a picture of his grave site and it had a huge statue of a race car with his number on it. At least it looked like his grave site.

That is Armand J.( "Joey") Laquerre III head stone, he died in a 1991 snowmobile mishap. His car number was 61 and was the uncle to Joey Laquerre Jr.(car #51) and was the brother to Joey Laquerre Sr. car #15.

I do not - sorry. These Laquerre's live in the Barre/Montpelier area of VT.
