NASCAR's hell-bent 'plate mentality is headed for the ultimate tragedy; the catch fence can't keep the car(s) out of the stands, forever. Then, the talking heads will go ballistic..........and EVERY form of racing will be branded and affected. Track-insurance will sky-rocket.
The fence held as it was designed to do THIS TIME but just think,that wild loose motor is still running and working as a gyro. Its direction could have been up hill as well. All I can say is someone was looking over the race here!!
It was still running when it came out of the car,A new set of headers and vrooom
Slow them down, take away the aero junk, and get RACE CAR DRIVERS.

Get rid of Green White Checkers at the bigger tracks like Fontana, Michigan, Daytona and Talladega. Too dangerous on those tracks to do that.
