We lost one of the fathers of rock n roll yesterday in St. Louis with the passing of Chuck Berry. I remember Chuck performing at the Charlote Motor Speedway start/finish line back in the 70s. NASCAR marketing guru, Sid Morris has a large photo on the gameroom wall of his Lake Norman home performng with Chuck that day as Chuck duckwalked across the makeshft Speedway stage. Chuck returned to the Speedway in 2006 for the world premiere of the Disney/Pixar film "Cars."
