Does anyone here have any memories of Mac's Famous Bar on A1A in Daytona Beach?

The race movies and the people were great............now those were race fans. Thanks, Wally - didn't know I'd ever see these pictures again.

The Myers gang stayed at the Dunes Court for many years. Little cabins with gas heaters in the corner should it get too cold and bingo and shuffelboard every night.I can't remember the couples name that owned it to save me but such a nice family. We got Christmas cards from them every year. DanDee was great too. I remember as a kid how badly I wanted to go to Mac's and see the race movies. It was worth the wait. Thanks for the memories.

The Best ham and cheese sandwich and the coldest beer in Daytona. The NASCAR crew was there at least everyother day when in town.We all loved the place.

Thanks for jogging my memory. The Barnhart's were really nice. Hated to see it go away. We could have very well met. Donnie Owens, my brother Gary and I played with toy cars on the beach. Saw Cotton, Dot and Diane at Hillsborough last year.

Mac's Bar is no longer there, But I along with a lot of others remember Mac's , a lot of the older drivers including me would hang out there from time to time back in the day.

Thanks for making me remember the good old days.
