I hope someone may be able to help. I am hunting for pictures of Duane Tucker or Herman Glick. They are one in the same person. Duane was a licensed NASCAR driver but use the name Herman Glick to race the non-NASCAR events. These would come from the dirt track modified days of North Carolina. Thanks to anyone who can help. Tom

I named my son after Duane back in 1970 because I pulled for him at Starlite in Monroe NC. Back then I sat in the stands and never got down to the pits so I never got to meet Duane to tell him. Well, I-77 Speedway (formerly Chester Speedway) had a Starlite reunion a couple of years back and I finally got to meet Duane and tell him about his namesake that was now shooting pictures for out local track. He was a really great guy and after meeting and talkiing with him I was glad I had named my son after him. He brought some zeroxed copies of pics of a few of his cars to give out that nite, including the '57 Ford he had been driving when I saw him at Starlite to autograph and give out and I've got them around here somewhere. I'll get them scanned in in a day or two and post them here for you.

Duane is Captain in charge of the Security for the Nextel Cup and Nationwide Series garages at Lowes Motor Speedway. I work for him there. He is a quality person. Thanks for the pictures. Tom

Tom, as I said, these were copy machine prints so the quality wasn't that good. Since you know him ask if he would do you some better copies. If he can't get it done the I'll be happy to copy the ones I have. Please tell him that Jerry said hello and ask him to let you check out the photo CD I gave him with the old Nascar models of mine on it.
