Noah Brown
Mr. Brown, 70, of Charlotte, died peacefully at his Lake Wylie home, where he had lived for the past 34 years, Saturday night, August 6, 2011. The family will welcome family and friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm, Thursday evening, August 11, 2011 at the Brown home, 3805 Marwick Road, Charlotte, NC 28278. Mr. Brown was born May 19, 1941 to the late Thurston Washington and Lillie Mae Garner Brown. He was a retired NASCAR engine builder. He had previously worked for Holman Moody, Digard Racing as well as his own company Noah Brown Engines. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Brown of the home, two sons, Terry and Jerry Brown, two grandsons, Brandon and Jake and sister, Janette. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the National Kidney Foundation of the Carolinas, 4819 Park Road, Suite C, Charlotte, NC 28209-3842.
