With Michael Waltrip and his band of slippery, slimy and deceitful lucky dogs hoarding all the NASCAR news, it has been very difficult for our RR leader, Jeff Gilder to find any GoGirl news being posted.
Ever ready to spring to Jeff's assistance at a moment's notice, I have searched the airwaves high and low for any news of the girl in green.
Voila!
Turns out Danica finally won again recently, but the news was overshadowed by those "Know-How" guys.
So, here you go, Jeff. No need to thank me.
Patrick wins 'Chopped' competition
Danica Patrick wins!
For racing fans who've been waiting to hear that, Patrick finally delivered this week ... on the Food Network's "Chopped".
Patrick won the celebrity competition, which included NFL great Tiki Barber, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin and celebrity bodyguard Chuck Zito, and consisted of preparing an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. She topped Coughlin in the final with a dessert sandwich made with protein powder, caramel popcorn, tangelos and olive oil cake.
Host Ted Allen called Patrick, who has taken classes at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, "a pro in the kitchen."
Patrick won $10,000 for the COPD Foundation; her grandmother died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Lots of fun with @NatalieCoughlin @TikiBarber and @ChuckZito !!!! Man I love cooking! Thanks @FoodNetwork ! pic.twitter.com/0STUaw85DH
