THE PASSING OF MY UNCLE SONNY DE CESARIS

THE recent passing of my uncle SONNY,a father,an uncle,a grandfather,&many other titles was builder & part owner of cecil county dragway,A partener in capitol raceway,back in the 60s & 70s Part owner of the CLASSIC 111 SUPER CLUB on allentown road in MD. Owner & builder of WASHINGTON HOMES.LATER became the 8th largest builder in the country. A recepiant of THE EAST COAST DRAG TIMES HALL OF FAME. Uncle SONY was tough as nails, but had a heart of GOLD, those of you that new him will agree with me. OF course he will surely be missed,with 13 children & untold amount of grandchildren,with many great granchildren as well. his wife AUNT BETTY ,GOD BE BY YOUR SIDE during these difficult times,WE LOVE YOU JULIO & ROSA MARRA

My condolences to you and Rosa and to Sonny's bountiful family. I met him at a Classic's III reception, a number of years ago. What a great track record he leaves behind and what a lasting remembrance carries forth, evidenced through the things he built, which, like his memory, will stand tall for generations to come. Julio & Rosa, Boots and I fondly remember Sonny and know he will be missed by family and friends (and even a few enemies) but we know he is in good hands. He was always a great supporter of me at Capital and the things we wanted to do. Give our best to all the family and God Bless.Boots & Bill
