Nostalgia Events

Last Spring I finished a 3-1/2 year frame-off, resteration on on 63 Catalina, Factory correct 421(HO) T10 4-speed, Tri-Carb, Saf-T-Loc rear. Last summer I went to a couple of "Nostalgia" Events only to find out that 1- I had the oldest car at the Event by maybe 10-13 years.but I could not compete with "Nostalgia" cars that showed up. I have searched most of the Winter for a Event that has a pre-65 street class among others.No luck. I`m not sure I understand why.So my question is, maybe there is someone out there, that can help with this. I live in Central Va, and willing to travel. The Best of Times Nostalgia event is going on today and tomorrow at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie. I do not know if they have the class you are looking for, but there are several members that are part of that group. You might call VMP to check.

Hi Jeff, thanks for replying. The Best of Times Nostalgia Events, do not have Classes. Its bracket racing. Thats another story. Thanks John Mead

Along with that great event, In July, Beaver Springs Pa has a Sunday Event (7/10), right up your alley.

Beaver Bob is a member here, you can message him. Also look under the York Pa Show EVENTS here on Drag Racers Reunion......

Wally, Thanks for your reply. Beaver Springs & York, both do not have Pre-65 Nostalgia Street Classes. Mostly Bracket Racing. If You would like pictures of my, 63 send me your e-mail address. I think it will give you a lot better idea. "Old School" its great---------------- John Mead
