Friends Thank you for your support. I'm so very Proud to announce Tiger Daddy is going to the Illinois HOF April 14th and 15th.

Tommy feels that his Grandpa Tiger the man he calls " His Pint Size Hero" needs to be at this Hall of Fame Induction and great Honor event, he said we can always Race the next Race, but his Grandpa needs to be at this special Occasion. That speaks volumes on the character of Tommy III my nephew, I am one very Proud Daughter and one very Proud Aunt. Thank you FRIENDS AND FANS for making this Happen your votes did this!!!

Deadline is April 1, 2012. Saturday afternoon the Historic Auto Attractions Museum will be open for all to view the new HOF Display. Illinois Stock Car Hall of Fame Announcement

The Hall of Fame inaugural ceremony will be held Saturday Night, April 14, 2012 at the Forest Hills Lodge. The lodge is located adjacent to Rockford Speedway. The festivities will consist of cocktails, dinner and induction ceremony. During the ceremony, 12 drivers, 1 promoter, 1 announcer and 1 car builder will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame will be located at Wayne Lensings Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe, Il. Wayne is opening his museum on Saturday at 11:00 am for Fans, Inductees and their Families to tour the Hall of Fame display as well as all of the other fabulous displays in the museum. An afternoon reception will be hosted by the Hall of Fame Board Members welcoming the inductees and their families.

Rockford Speedway will have their 35th Annual Late Model Spring Classic the next afternoon, Sunday April 15th. New to the schedule will be the Illinois Vintage Racing Series. The 25 lap Feature will be the Inaugural Hall of Fame Classic featuring the 50s & 60s cars and legends of the Finest and Fastest Vintage cars in the Midwest. This Feature event will cap off a Historic Gala Weekend event for Illinois StockCar Auto Racing. Hotel discounts will be available for families who want to attend both Saturday and Sunday events.


A $20.00 Yearly Membership in the Hall of Fame is a great opportunity for local racing fans to have input in the choosing of
inductees. Yearly Sponsorships are also available for a minimum $100.00 donation. Membership and Sponsorship money will be used to fund the Hall of Fame awards and display.


Illinois will be divided into 4 regions. Each region will have nominees for each category. 2012 Ballots will be mailed in the fall of 2011. Members will also be able to suggest a nominee per category for future inductees.

A Quarterly Newsletter will be sent to all members and sponsors along with a membership card and a sticker. Each member and sponsor will be acknowledged in our newsletters and induction program.

This is a tremendous honor and your family is justifiably proud.

Best of luck to your dad and your nephew.

I will never, ever, ever forget watching your dad set the all-time dirt qualifying record at Richmond in his '64 Ford #59 - a record that will stand FOREVER in all of the NASCAR and Richmond record books!
