Crew Members Suspended For Violation Of NASCAR Substance Abuse Policy

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 14, 2013) Jackson L. Dodson II, a crew member in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Frank W. Earnhardt, a crew member in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, have been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning bodys substance abuse policy.

On May 9, Dodson was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 19 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2013 NASCAR Rule Book.

On May 10, Earnhardt was found to have violated Sections 12-1 and 19.

Really hate to see this keep cropping up. For some reason we used to think NASCAR was immune. Afraid we are seeing a mirror of many other workplaces.

This is so true, Dave. Alcohol and other drug abuse have no boundaries in today's society. It is sad.
