From Roanoke, Virginia's WSLS television digitized 16mm sports film donated to the University of Virginia Library comes the win by NASCAR National Modified Champion Bugs Stevens - "Da Bug Man" of Rehoboth, Massachusett's in Martinsville's April 1968 Dogwood 300 Modified event. Ray Hendrick led until he blew the Jack Tant power plant in the "Flying 11."

That's Melvin Bradley putting Junie Donlavey's blue #90 Ford coupe, traditionally driven by Sonny Hutchins in the frontstretch wall. And, that's Richmond's jack Massey displaying the yellow from the Martinsville flag stand.
