Hi, everyone. I'm Doug and I work for Georgia Tech in Atlanta. We just published my story on Georgia Tech’s Racing Roots , which I thought y'all might be interested in. It highlights early speed culture in and around Atlanta, and shows the deep connections between Georgia Tech and racing pioneers Raymond Parks, Red Vogt, Lloyd Seay, Roy Hall, and Red Byron. I wrote the story with blessing and participation by Violet Parks, Raymond's widow who established a scholarship endowment in his memory.

Would appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and share! This site has been a fantastic resource and I welcome your feedback as fellow racing fans.
