Why I Didn't Take Grandsons Dirt Racing Tonight

Local and Regional Short Track Racing

Dave, I really dont know what it will take for these so called promoters to wake up. Like you I dont frequent the local tracks like I use to. 2/3 divisions and you can get the fans out at a decent hour. If a guy takes his family and racing is not over until midnight or later, his family will not want to go back therefore you are not gaining a fan base but losing it. I would much like to see a good competitive field than all these different divisions.

Tim, Thank you for setting this visit up. Had a great time seeing so many people, catching up with some and putting faces to names which is great. Sat with Dave Fulton at lunch and had a great discussion with him and Randy Myers. Great group and was glad to see Miss Frances was able to be there. I believe everybody really enjoyed themselves. Jeff, I can get along with just about anybody. I have gotten along with my wife for 40 years. Me and Pk will be allright. If everybody thought alike what would this world be like. I will probably get on her nerves and she will probably get on mine. But you know I have a little sign in this so called computer room that says" Lee Surrendered - I Didn't" with a little Rebel Flag on it. So you might just call me an ole Red Neck. But seriously, cant we all just get along here? Ha Ha Take care and will be listening for you rebel rousers on Tuesday night.

Pkl, Sounds like you have the right words for that crowd. I dont think Gilder would be too hard to handle. As for your accent, they probably think they know more than you do, but from reading some of your posts, I believe you got them all beat. Take care.

Jeff, I just joined up yesterday. If we dont like but 315 and if I am correct that just over the last few years we have almost 10,000, I dont see any problem with reaching that goal. I dont really think anybody wants that goat though. You are gonna have to come up with something else. They are enough goats running around Myrtle Beach on Tuesday nights from 7 til 9. You guys get a little nutty at times but thats where the fun comes in. Every since Tim got me hooked up with the Tuesday show, I have to run my wife off the computer where I can listen to all the craziness. Seriouly, I really enjoy it all. Tim's pieces, Cody is great,if he hangs with it he will go far. and also enjoy Bobby 's ghost tracks, he brings up alot of familiar driver names from way back in the day. Everybody seems to be real nice, but dont go pulling on the Legend's cap. You know you will hear about it HaHa.
