October 3 - This day in Petty history 10/03/53 - Lee finishes 6th in a 200 lapper at Bloomsburg Fairgrounds in Bloomsburg PA.10/03/76 - Richard finishes 3rd in the Wilkes 400 at North Wikesboro.10/03/82 - Richard finishes 4th in the Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro. Kyle finishes 10th in the UNO/STP Petty Pontiac.10/03/93 - Kyle finishes 4th in the Tyson/Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro. Rick Wilson finishes 33rd out of 34 cars in the #44 Pontiac.10/3/99 - After winning the spring race, John Andretti finishes dead friggin' last in the NAPA Auto Care 500 at Martinsville. Kyle soldiers home with a 7th place finish in the #44 Hot Wheels Pontiac.
