Thanks, Wally, Larry, Mort and Thomas...this picture has an interesting history in my life. I drew this in 2010 from the cover of a 1964 Car Craft Magazine I have that features the Winternationals. As I kept on with the project (it took around 28 hours to do it), something about the dragster kept bugging me...something wasn't right...I couldn't quite figure it out until I had the car almost completely finished, then it dawned on me...the steering arm was on the wrong side...also, the oil filter which usually protruded from the right rear side of the engine was not there...I realized that the picture on the cover of the 1964 Car Craft was "flopped"...it was put on there backwards when it was published! I very carefully selected the entire graphic and mirrored it over. After 46 years, it now "sits right", like it actually was when it was photographed. Thanks again, JB

Hi John, great eye for detail. It's a picture that captures the moment. Seen more than one picture that was inside out. I follow the New Zealand nostalgia drag racing on you tube and it's funny to see the hot rodders seated on the english side. Some good videos there. Tom.

You're right about those cars, Tom...they look kinda funny but they haul the mail for sure. I'll check out that stuff. Thanks, JB
