Roxboro Paper: Durham Driver winner at Roseville June 6,1960
Durham's Roy Murphy edged Roxboro's Mac Mangum in the feature race at the Roseville Speedway last friday night.Bill Taylor of Durham ran third in the top event of the night.
Chandler Kirk of Roxboro trailed in the hobby division with first winner being Wayne McGhee of Hillsboro.Harry Black of Durham was second.
In the first heat for sportsman Buck Thomas and G.B.Holt both of Roxboro were in one-Two.while in the second heat Taylor was first with Larry Thomas in second place.
Another night of racing is set for friday night.Owners of the track reveal that have plenty of seats with newly corrected lights fans will not have any trouble identifying the cars and drivers.A large field of cars is expected for the friday card.
