HI EVERY ONE WOW! I HAVE MORE STORIES THAT I CAN TYPE.MY FATHER RAYMOND PIKE DID LOTS OF BODY WORK ON JOYS CARS IN THE 60'S AND 70'S HIS MOST FAMOUS WORK WAS THE FIRST CAMARO. I PERSONALLY HELD THE TORCH WHILE MY DAD TOOK HIS BALLPENED

HAMMER AND DOLLY AND STRETCHED SO PERFECT THEFLARES FOR EACH BIG TIRE .THE FRONTS ALMOST TO THE TOP OF THE FENDER! RAP ATAP ADAP! ALL NIGHT LONG.AND I KNEW AT THIS TIME THIS CAR WAS GOING TO BE FAST! AND IT WAS.... THE ONLY CAMARO AT THAT TIME DUE TO NEW RULE CHANGES ALLOWIING SMALLER CARS,DRUE A CROWD.IT WAS THE BEST LOOKING AND FASTEST CAR EVER...ESPECIALLY WITH THE BIG BLOCK MOTOR.IT WAS SAID TO BE ABLE TO SPIN THE TIRESLOOSE DOWN THE BACK STRECH AT TOLEDO I BUILT A MODEL OF THIS CAR COMPLETE WITH TRUCK AND TRAILER40 YEARS AGO AND STILL HAVE IT TODAY! I USED RAMCHARGER HEADERS TO REPLACATE THE WILD ONES FAIR BUILT. MANY RULES WERE MADE TO SLOW HIM DOWN HE WAS TRULY AN INNOVATOR. AND ABOUT THE FALCON WITH THE "LITTLE 289" HOW ABOUT A GILLY SUPER STROKED MONSTER WITH BUICK STRAIGHT EIGHT PISTONS MATED WITH HOMEMADE RODS POSSESSING 405 CI AND ABOUT 500 HP. FORD I THINK WAS CURIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST WHAT WAS GOING ON HERE!!! WEL'L TALK ABOUT THE OLDSMOBLE LATER. BYE FOR NOW.........SCOTT
