Hi Devin,Yes this is my 1965 Pontiac. It is a LeMans with GTO badging.The picture was taken at Raceway Park this past fall and the picture is featured in Raceway Park's advertisement for the GM Show and Go coming this May 10th. It is in their newspaper and on their website.On the run following the taking of this picture the yoke broke putting an end to my season at the track..The engine was completed about a week before it was brought to the track to dial it in. It is a 400 Pontiac stroked to 461ci with a solid roller cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads ported and port matched to the block and intake.The intake is an Edelbrock Victor.It has a 1000 cfm Holly and 670 lift Bullitt Cam. It pulled 640 hp at the crank on the dyno.The rear is aFord 9in with 410 gears but is being replaced as we speak with a spool and 35 spline axles, still 410. this day the car ran 125mph but the time was slow, 11.4 as I had not yet power shifted the reworked Tremic 5 speed. WE are still adjusting the suspension and the 60 foot time was 1.61 sec. Still trying to get used to that tranny and figuring out the best way ti get traction.We will be getting back to the track in April to continue dialing it in.Thanks for the inquiry. Keep in touch.
