Third Generation Driver Makes NASCAR Debut

Radford, VA: Fourteen year old Michael McGuire will make his first start in a NASCAR sanctioned event Saturday June 26, 2010 at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA in the Limited Sportsman Division.

This past winter NASCAR changed its minimum age requirement of sixteen years of age to fourteen. McGuire turned fourteen on June 15 th and looks forward to competing against the best drivers on the east coast. Racing in NASCARs highest series is McGuires goal and by making his first start in the Limited Sportsman Division at MMS is a step in that direction.

Take note RR members join the club and watch this young man from his first Nascar race through a fantastic career and know you had a part in it. Leave him a message and let him know you are behind him all the way to the top.

Read his story and let us know what you think.
