Steve, Got an e-mail from racer Jim Fredericks a few days ago telling me this is his sister, Ruth Toht, in a Powder Puff race at Shady Bowl. I believe that this was jim's car she was driving.Bobby

Bobby, Thanks for the info. I do have an additional picture - see attached. It's way out of focus, so I've never posted it, but you might want to show it to Jim for positive ID. By the way, I remember Jim and I probably have some photos of other of his cars somewhere. Anyway, the shot is attached. The driver of # 78 was talking to Shorty Miller before the start of the next race. The # 20 car is Waco Wayne Watercutter. Thanks again.
