This or Homestead?

Just stumbled upon this little bit of video from Costa Mesa, California. I'd never seen a motorhome/camper demo derby before. Listen to the crowd cheer. The grandstand is full - that's how you know it isn't a NASCAR race! I bet this is 10 times better than a boring NASCAR race at Homestead.

SPOILER ALERT .... The Winner is a FEMALE funeral home embalmer. I guess she really did kill those guys, lol!

How 'bout that chair lift? Might be cool to string one of those from the top of the Speedway Club to the turn 2 condos at Charlotte. Imagine how cool it would be to cruise over the top of the race action AND the infield loons. I might even put Schaefer stickers on the souls of my flip flops in case anyone shoots photos or video of me from the ground.

I ran a race last year at Citrus County Speedway here in Florida and there was a School Bus figure eight race on the program. It was the first one I had ever seen and it was so exciting and the stands were overflowing. The track flag man was the winner and had nerves of steel. I really enjoyed it.
