Racers Reunion member and owner of Cheraw, SC Speedway, Lynn Ingram, has announced the sale of the historic track. The 7 acre site is located adjacent to the municipal Cheraw airport. The 1/4 mile paved speedway, built by Jimmy Ingram, closed in the late '60's but dates to the 1950's as both a dirt and paved raceway. The site was recently cleared and a Cheraw Speedway reunion was held in October, 2011. Asking price is$65K; Cheraw Speedway can also be viewed on facebook.
