Jeff Gilder is the owner and Johnny Mallonee the driver. My best to both.
Side note. My first encounter with Mr. Finch was when he brought Jeff Purvis to Richmond in February 1990 for his 3rd ever NASCAR race - the Busch Series Pontiac 200.
I had an immediate appreciation for Mr. Finch's taste in music. My encounter was in the lounge of the Hyatt Regency on West Broad Street in the Richmond suburb of Glen Allen (home of 3-time Permatex 300 winner, Bill Dennis) where the famed beach music group Bill Deal & the Rhondells of Virginia Beach were playing. Lots of brass - saxophones, trumpets, trombones and lots of shagging. Coastal Jack Walker would have approved!
Who said anything about Mr. Finch? LOL Johnny gave you an "inside scoop" didn't he? Then, we had a drink, and shagged the night away...while Coastal Jack kept the music....~flowing~~~~ Dang...Dave, now you got me wanting to dance...Is it Tuesday, yet???

This is only a wild guess.....and only a guess. Me thinks that Mr. Gilder would never buy a team HE himself wasn't going to drive and Mr Mallonee has the same problem I personally have been having, finding a window opening he can fit thru......lol
If I have to guess I say its Harry Scott and the driver will be Justin Allgieur.....

I like you also make accommodations for the immediate driver so entrance and exit isnt a problem -- my ride is designed around my derriere ..
Now dont think Finch is going to roll over and play dead at the end of the year-- Im willing to bet he will run a limited schedule with the right person if given the chance out of his old shop---now im not saying----- but.............................................. memories
