Portions of post taken from Tom Jensen Fox News
NASCAR's chairman and CEO is convinced that the sport can benefit from tweaks to its points system. What will those tweaks be? He isn't saying -- yet -- but he contends, 'We can do a little bit better.'
And if you been paying attention this is not the first time he has brought this up,"We're not satisfied we have the exact balance we want with winning, consistency, points, running for a championship," France said Tuesday night on Motor Racing Network's "NASCAR Live," radio show
Last month in Las Vegas, France said NASCAR can improve its points system. "Do I think we have it perfect in terms of the right incentives to win? I don't think we do," France said. "I think we can do -- I'm not willing to say exactly what it'll be, but I think we can do a little bit better."
Now I dont exactly understand the meaning of this next quote out of Brians mouth but "We think we can make some tweaks that continue to incentivize risk-taking, racing harder and so on ...
Now im not one of those Bull Street lawyers(hmmmm) but those words of ploy that they said he used -well lets let the ones of knowledge on R/R clarify what Brian France purposes to do.. He is even batting the ball around in the owners points trying to make the owners points and manufactures points mirror each other, that should be interesting...
unless you know something different??
