Four wide on a Sunday afternoon isnt so bad even when you pull up beside someone in the next lane, but if you touch them before you pull up and they go sliding away thats called racing. Some think that it was an accident but others say foul to the maneuver, but did they really touch?
Brad Keselowski went for a long slide in his No. 2 Team Penske Ford after attempting to take the lead early in the Aaron's 499 Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway, with a little help from the No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet of Danica Patrick .
Although Keselowski miraculously avoided major contact from cars behind him in the rest of the field, he did suffer damage to a radiator hose in the incident. It had to be repaired and he was seven laps down by the time he returned to the race, effectively ending any chance he had of winning or even posting a strong finish.
Patrick did not suffer any damage to her car and remained on the lead lap. Afterwards the race had several other maybe hits and slides but none was the fault of tires for a change..!
Well yes there was one incidence that looked like it could fail at any time at the race today. This did look risky in a sense......
