Anyway you say it thats impressive.. Qualifying yesterday at Indy then flying to Charlotte to run Saturday nite ------ THEN ---- flying back to Indy to qualify at 230+ mph thats impressive any way you say it.. He is a Busch and he is called the Outlaw for a reason. I am very pleased with this result----- Are you?

4th fastest overall. If he hadn't had to leave early for yesterday's bread & circus, he probably would have been able to get into the Fast Nine (I think he was 10th). That would have allowed him to advance anywhere amongst those 9 during today's qualifying, and so the inside of the second row.

They just went to this qualifying routine this year and I don't really like it. Too many opportunities to hit the wall. Instead of taking a huge risk once, you have to do it on Saturday to get into the Fast Nine, then again Sunday to go for the pole. Thankfully there were no crashes the whole weekend.

Busch has a fast car and has demonstrated a lot of skill but will be lucky to finish in the top ten. Like a lot of other tracks, speed isn't the determining factor, strategy is. I'm sure that Andretti didn't give him the best crew chief, and racing in traffic is a whole nuther game than running flat out by yourself. If he doesn't crash, I'll put him down for a 7th place finish. And he's going to be totally wiped for the 600 so I predict a relief driver.
