JACKSON 200

Jackson, Miss. May 23, 1969

The 6th Grand Touring race of 1969 was held at Jackson International Speedway and was 200 laps on the 1/2 mile paved oval. Pete Hamilton started from the pole and captured his first series victory in the Gene White Camaro #25 holding off Charlie Blanton.

Dennis, I love getting history on this series. I saw only a couple of those races but remember those two being hotly contested events. Keep the stories coming and let's fill in the record book.
