I read an article this morning on Yahoo Sports in which Matt Kenseth was interviewed about the wreck in Sonoma. He made the statement that Junior had not called him to apologize for the incident. Excuse me Mr. Dollar General, but I saw that accident and it sure looked to me like an unavoidable racing incident. You have caused more than your share of such incidents and I don't recall one driver mentioned whether or not you bothered to call. You and your fake smile always interview nicely after such incidents caused by you and it is always a "sincere apology" for what you did. Junior immediately jumped on his in car radio and apologized to you, the team and the world accepting responsibility.
Somehow I just can't imagine Joe Weatherly telling an interviewer that Curtis Turner didn't call to apologize for putting him through the wall. Or Lee Petty calling Buck Baker to apologize for such an indiscretion. But then I guess it was lack of cell phones back in the day. Or, you know what? If you can imagine this. Drivers actually talked to each other back then, stayed in the same motels, ate in the same diners.
Matt, I hope you get that call this week before you check in for Kentucky. Would hate to think your little heart would be broken not to receive an apology.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
