The Grand Touring cars visited the Lakewood Speedway for the 32nd race of the year. A 100 lap event on the 1 mile dirt track for $7,065 in prize money.
Pete Hamilton started on the pole with a time of 40.75 seconds but T.C. Hunt claimed his second victory of the year. This time without relief driver Russell Nelson who finished 18 th .
