Well the youngin finally did it, he won his first Sprint Cup race after getting by that Napa know how #24 in the late going.. After several close calls and heartbreaking near-misses, Kyle Larson is finally a Sprint Cup Series winner. Larson won his 99th career Cup start Sunday at Michigan, making a late pass on Chase Elliott to put himself into the Chase for the Sprint Cup with just two races remaining in the regular season. He pulled out to the lead and held it again after a final restart. So now he is in the chase carrying Chips colors to Homestead.Got to give him credit, the boy can drive..Aug 28, 2016; Brooklyn, MI, USA; Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Larson (42) races during the Pure Michigan 400 at the Michigan International Speedway.

In the case of the #42 car, primary sponsor, Target is leveraging its suppliers to pay the cost of their racing program. That's why each week you see the names of various products sold at Target scattered all about Kyle Larson's car. However, don't know if that Coke logo on the deck lid was part of that leveraged sponsorship program or allowed to be sold separately by Ganassi. Don't know what the going rate is today for a rear deck lid, though.
